Re: The Old Republic
I really like the trailer for the game. It looks really frackin sweet. Although, I was disappointed when they said it is unlikly that it will come out for mac.

I believe it's going to be amazing.

Can't Boot Camp emulate XP? The drivers may be a problem too but it's probably worth a try.

Re: The Old Republic
(shutter) I hate the thought of using Windows 7...especially after Snow Leopard

Well, I've heard some good things, some bad things. However, I think that it will be decent enough. If I see that 7 isn't good, I'll "steal" a copy of XP from my grandparents

I still find it too graphic intensive. How fast your CPU and how much RAM do you have? If you don't mind me askin'.

It works well on 4GB of RAM? Maybe they fixed better than I thought. I'll have to try it some more.

Re: The Old Republic
you might be able to get away with a virtual box:
http://www.virtualbox.org/
its how i'm able to programme in linux whilst owning a vista machine (linux kicks vistas ass in that department
) however i'd assume the old republic is alot more intense and may go beyond the capabilites of the box.
Personally i'm yay but don't own a polygon muncher just a laptop that can barely play games.
