E3 2010: Suprise or Dissapointment (not related to BF3)

In the weeks after E3 2010. Do you think it was a suprise or disspointment. For me it was a little bit of both. Not a whole lot of good announcements for Microsoft and Sony. Halo Reach Space Combat and the return of Firefight was the highlight of my day. What is yours?

Halo: Reach was my disappointment actually. It's too much of the same. My highlight was Crysis 2, Portal 2, ToR, Rock Band 3, and Twisted Metal. I wish I could say Jack IV and Resistance 3 as well but unfortunately there was no such announcement.

Crysis 2 and Portal 2 were pretty good. My get them when they come out.

I was really hoping for a new Zone of the Enders (putting up flame shield) which in my opinion is more deserving of a 3rd game than BF3, ONLY because its story was pretty good and it really was the best game with mecha combat. LIke BF3 that game has been on and off the radar, with Kojima himself saying the game would come, but not now cause hes got more important things to do lol.

I was hoping for a Metal Gear Solid HD remake, but again not likely just a pipe dream

hoping for more footage and info on NHL 11...nothing

Assassins creed 3....nothing...although that brotherhood CGI trailer was epic and I will def buy that game.

story info on Metal Gear solid Rising...we got gameplay footage but I want to know something story wise, what drives raiden to kill all those troops and watermelon in badass fasion. In the MGS 4 premier trailer we atleast found out it was his final mission, for this we just found out we cut things...


That being said TGS will be better for Konami games and Japanese games in general. this years E3 wasnt bad and it was the first time i ever actually followed it, which is ironic cause now im losing interest in games butmore could have happened to make E3 bette.

The only thing good that came out of E3 besides the Star Wars games is the new consoles.

I'm pretty sure they did. I don't know for what console though. Something tells me it was the Wii or DS. Speaking of which, the DSI sounds impressive. I say sounds because we can't actually see it yet. I used to be one of the biggest denial of 3D entertainment but after a 5 minute stop into the Sony Store I'm sold. I don't think I would play every game in 3D (not very many actually) but they still look cool. I got go see Motorstorm: Pacific Rift which was awesome cause the parts fly at you when you crash. I doubt that 3D gaming will become a default (eyes get tired) but I can see at as a large part of future games. This is my last post from my iPod for a while so spelling and grammar should be back up to par by tomorrow.

I think it was a remake of the original for the upcoming 3DS.

I think when he means announce a new kingdom hearts he meant for the home console as in PS3. the handhand games dont count lol

My best friend's the same way Legion. I really want to smack a couple developers for saying "hey let's make a handheld, it may sell for less but with the smaller production time who cares?"

A lot of good games are exclusive to handhelds. Like renegade and elite squadron for example.
