Clearly any pre-release changes to the original run of the OT was good, because they turned out fantastic.

George may have a fascination with special effects, but he's not a child. Everyone faces disappointment or failure. Not all dreams are meant to come true. Luckily for us, George's view dream of the OT being horrible did not come to fruition.

I don't necessarily hate GL, but I don't look at him as a good filmmaker.
