The Jedi Council

I like vaders idea of being selected for the council, it gives the title more credability and will not be assosiated with:

"If I spam my ass off..."

type of thing

I also like the idea of selecting members but I don't know if there are twelve members here that are dedicated enough. It will probably start off with 2 or 3 people. I also am not sure how the user status is setup but I will see what the various degrees of users there are.

Well the Jedi Council should be complete by tonight. I've decided to go with Vader's idea of choosing members who have been trusted although they haven't been picked yet. I'm fairly busy so the forum and permissions may not be done by tonight but I'll try.

Contragulations to the first Council members: Tretarn and Legion 2.5!

All of the permissions and such aren't complete but I'll get it done as fast as I can. Also, if you were hoping to get on and are disappointed, do not worry. There are 10 spots remaining although won't be needed for a while. The best way to get one of the seats is to remain active and kind in the community.

I may be inclined to throw in some prizes here and there for randomly chosen Council Members.

Prizes? What do you have in mind?

I'm not sure yet, i'll have to discuss it with Scott. Star Wars related, maybe small prizes (keychains, mousepads, mugs) stuff like that and "grand prizes" (games, movies, toys).

Wow, that sounds interesting.

Sounds great to me. Digital prizes would the easiest such as points/gift certificate to a service such as iTunes.

Yeah. It may give more incentive to new members to post more as well.

Thank you for selecting me for the Jedi Council. I will be good for it. I'm might be joining karate soon, so I'll probably won't be on here on some weekdays.

EDIT: I got an idea. Maybe Nitro or Scott could be the Jedi Grand Master of the council like Luke and Yoda were.
EDIT 2: I also think that users Darth Vader and IronMan21 would be excellent candidates for the jedi council here.
