Steam coming to Linux?
Here's an article addressing the rumor. I'm hoping it's true.

Steam has some problems but out of all the game purchasing service thingies it's still probably the best. Certainly better than Origin from what I've heard.
Besides, anything that make Linux gaming better is welcome on my watch.

I'm really only anti-Steam because I'm on dial-up. I'd probably sing a different tune if I could use the service.

Here's a better article were the information originally came from.
And they even have a picture of Left 4 Dead 2 running on Linux without Wine.

Valve and Gabe Newell's interest in Linux goes beyond what would be expected of any normal game company, but Valve is certainly a unique beast. Listening to Gabe Newell talk about Linux for hours made me wonder whether he was a former ex-Microsoft employee (where he actually did work in his pre-Valve days in the 90's) or the director of the Linux Foundation. His level of Linux interest and commitment was incredible while his negativity for Windows 8 and the future of Microsoft was stunning.
